Dr. Nana Banerjee
President & CEO
Dr. Nana Banerjee is the President and CEO of Pelmorex Corp. since April 2023. He brings over 25 years of experience in leadership, innovation, and global scaling of analytics, information services, and technology-oriented businesses. Prior to this role, he was a Senior Advisor to Cerberus Capital Management, where he served on the board of several portfolio companies and was the Chairman of Comscore (Nasdaq: SCOR). Nana also served as the President and CEO of McGraw-Hill and as the Group President and Officer of Verisk (Nasdaq: VRSK). He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the State University of New York and serves on the board of the Field Museum of Natural History and Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt Kisco, New York.
Kelly Cresencia
VP, People & Culture
Since joining Pelmorex in 2013, Kelly has played a pivotal role in advancing our Total Rewards and People Analytics initiatives, working strategically to improve the employee experience and contribute to the overall organizational success. Kelly, alongside her team, is responsible for talent management, employee relations and organizational design within Pelmorex to ensure a positive inclusive work environment that encourages innovation. With over 25 years experience in Human Resources her expertise spans across diverse industries, including media, mining and tech startups providing her with a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to People Operations.
Gerard Doyle
Vice-President, Product & Marketing
Gerard joined Pelmorex in 2018 as Vice-President, Product & Marketing. Gerard is an experienced product executive with a proven track record of creating first-class digital media products. As Vice President, Product & Marketing, Gerard will be focusing on product management for our entire product line, with an emphasis on creating the best possible consumer experience for all our properties. Prior to joining us, Gerard was Vice President, Revenue & Marketing at TVO and has close to 20 years experience in the technology and media industries.
Mark Gibbas
Managing Director, Weather Source
Mark has taken Weather Source from a small start-up to a leading weather and climate technology provider. Initially focused on weather information and consulting, he envisioned a scalable weather operating system catering to diverse industries with location-specific insights. Today, Weather Source‘s OnPoint Platform serves top-ranked companies with actionable weather and climate insights. Before founding the company, Mark applied his expertise in meteorology and computer science roles at Applied Insurance Research and TASC, contributing to long-range forecasting systems. He also advanced meteorological capabilities for Latin American countries while working with the United Nations’ World Meteorological Organization. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology with minors in computer science and mathematics.
Simon Jennings
Chief Revenue Officer
As Pelmorex’s CRO, Simon oversees revenue generation across Pelmorex’s many brands in North America and abroad. Prior to joining Pelmorex in 2016, a small selection of companies where he left his mark includes ClickThrough Interactive, DoubleClick Canada, Yahoo! Canada, La Presse, and Postmedia.
Karen Kheder
Director, Communications & Administration
Karen works closely with the leadership team on cross-departmental business and strategic initiatives, including leading all internal and external communications for Pelmorex.
Alex Leslie
Chief Technology Officer
Alex Leslie has been CTO/SVP of Technology at Pelmorex since 2009, building and leading teams that make up the backbone of Pelmorex’s IT operations. Prior to Pelmorex, Alex held senior positions at several major companies, including AOL Canada, Netscape and Sun Microsystems.
Tawnie McNabb
VP, Finance
Financial analysis, financial models -- in fact, everything to do with finance -- is where you will find Tawnie at Pelmorex, where she leads the company’s financial operations. Tawnie received her MBA from the Schulich School of Business in 1995, and joined Pelmorex in 1998.
Andy Rice
Managing Director, B2B Analytics Solutions & Services
Andy Rice is the Managing Director for B2B Analytics Solutions & Services at Pelmorex Corp. Andy’s impressive career spans across diverse organizations focused on weather, climate, AI, and Analytics. Andy supports the strategic direction, operations and growth of the company‘s B2B sector. Prior to joining Pelmorex in 2023, Andy was Global Lead for Sustainability, Climate and Weather Analytics as a Partner at IBM, VP Product & Analytics at The Weather Company and Chief Product Officer at Weather Central and is currently pursuing executive education in MIT’s Chief Sustainability Officer program.
Maureen Rogers
Managing Director, Pelmorex Weather Networks
Maureen joined Pelmorex in May 2011. She is responsible for the operations of all weather platforms, which consists of managing content on seven television feeds (in French and English), multiple online and mobile platforms, as well as next generation IPTV.
Chris Scott
Head of Meteorology
Chris joined Pelmorex in 1998, working as an operational forecaster and on-air meteorologist at The Weather Network before joining the management team. He is currently the Head of Meteorology for Pelmorex and leads a group of 30 operational and research meteorologists. Chris holds degrees in atmospheric science from The University of Michigan and York University.

Born in Montreal, Pierre had a successful career in banking and telecommunications before founding Pelmorex in 1989. Since then, the company’s Weather Network, MétéoMédia and Eltiempo brands have grown to be market leaders in weather-related media and multi-platform information services.

R. Geoffrey Browne, is the Founder and Managing Partner at MWI & Partners, a private equity firm started in 1996. He has over 40 years of experience in the financial services in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. He has held senior positions at CIBC and Merrill Lynch. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and sits on numerous corporate & not-for-profit Boards.
Alysia Charlton
Managing Director, Pelmorex Investments Inc. & Group CFO
Alysia Charlton joined Pelmorex as a Corporate Controller in 1995. As Pelmorex grew, so did Alysia’s role - ultimately rising to the position of Group CFO in 2014. In this capacity, Alysia is responsible for the financial management function across all Pelmorex properties.
Allan Donald
Corporate Director
Al is a corporate director and finance professional. Al spent almost 40 years at Deloitte where he held executive and global roles in brand, marketing, communications and business development. In addition, he advised many of Canada’s most successful companies, principally in the technology and consumer business industries. Al has also leveraged his knowledge of communications to support the accounting profession. He advised the Accounting Standards Board on its development of guidance for non-gaap reporting and worked as a member of CPA Canada’s Advisory Group on Value Creation; which is a key part of the “future of the profession framework”.
He is and has been a member of a number of profit oriented and not for profit Boards of Directors. He is an FCPA, FCA, is a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program (SEP) and has an ICD.D designation.
Sharon Hodgson
Dean, Ivey Business School
Sharon Hodgson was appointed Dean of Ivey Business School in May 2019. She is an active Board member for two public companies; IGM Financial Inc. (IGM:TSE) and for Toromont Industries (TIH:TSX).
Prior to Ivey, Sharon held several senior leadership roles with in IBM Global Business Services. Her last role was as the Global Leader for the $3B Revenue Artificial Intelligence, Watson™, and Advanced Analytics Consulting Business.
Sharon holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.
Marc Morrissette
Vice-Chair, Pelmorex Corp. & Chief Investment Officer, Pelmorex Investments Inc.
Marc Morrissette is currently Vice-Chair at Pelmorex Corp and Chief Investment Officer at Pelmorex Investments Inc. Starting his career in sales at Rogers Media, Marc spent two decades in the digital media industry and has held senior roles in the areas of Strategy, Corporate Development and International Development. Marc holds a B.A. in Communications and Business Admin from Wilfred Laurier University, is a Chartered Director from DeGroote School of Business, and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
R. Kelly Shaughnessy
Corporate Director
R. Kelly Shaughnessy spent more than 30 years with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, holding several senior roles. He joined the Canadian Bankers Association in 2000, and oversaw all activities of its Banking Operations Division, as well as managing relations with the federal government.
Chris Zook

Chris Zook is a best-selling author of books on leadership and business strategy, an Advisory Partner at the consulting firm Bain & Company, and a CEO coach with Feigen Advisors.
Chris spent nearly all of his career as part of the Bain partner team growing Bain & Company from a start-up to a global consulting leader of 20,000 employees. For over 20 years he was head of the firm’s Global Strategy Practice. In his client work, management roles, speaking and writing, Chris specialized in how companies find new sources of profitable growth and
renew themselves internally to become more adaptive and entrepreneurial.
