A concussion ignored can end a career and ruin a life. The symptoms go away well before the brain’s vulnerability to further injury fades. If players get back in the game too early, they risk a second hit. That can be crippling — or fatal.
It is an “invisible” ailment that can be downplayed and we are looking to change that.
Since 2014, we’ve been running and refining our Canada-wide system of pre-season baseline testing, so that every athlete we assess has a complete health profile, accessible right from rink side by any coach the moment a concussion is suspected.
Using our app and website, trained coaches can assess players for signs and symptoms of concussion and connect with specially-trained physicians and therapists at over 200 clinic locations almost instantly.
We’re the first to look at concussions this closely. We’re good at it, and we are only getting better.

Thoughts from our people.
“The key to proper concussion management starts long before the first injury happens. Baseline testing is one such example. Another example is education.”
